Who is Anderson Antiques?
Anderson Antiques is Cheryl Weller-Anderson. I have been buying, collecting, and selling vintage for nearly 40 years.
I spent my professional career as a university, college and private academy English instructor (holding a BA in English, and MA in English & Technical Writing, and a PhD in American Literature), but my passion has always been hunting for "treasures from the past."
In 1988, I completed training and received certification in antiques and appraisals through a continuing education course offered by Pennsylvania State University.

I have been selling on eBay since 2009 under the handle ckprof. I have over 3600 sales on eBay and a 5-Star rating.
I have been selling on ETSY since 2012 where I have over 1700 sales and a 5-Star rating. My 3 Etsy shops are:

I have been on Postmark @CKPROF since 2021 (18 sales to date) and Mercari @CHERYL A since 2023 (2 sales to date).
While both eBay and Etsy are decent platforms, they take quite a bite into a seller’s profit (nearly 30%). I am trying to move away from both eBay & Etsy and help more of my many repeat customers shop directly from me here at my three websites where I can keep my prices lower.
